PublicationsIn the framework of the project for the development of pension system of the Republic of Moldova the Independent Actuarial Information-Analytical Center in cooperation with the specialists of the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child developed a range of monographs on this subject: “Pension system of the Republic of Moldova: development scenarios and model”, “Pension system of the Republic of Moldova: actuary expertise”, “Gender aspects of pension system of the Republic of Moldova”. All books are published in Russian, English and Romanian languages. Pension system of the Republic of Moldova: development scenarios and modelThis monograph includes the description of the set of applications for the forecast of the financial situation of pension system of the Republic of Moldova, developed by the experts of the independent non-commercial organization - Independent Actuarial Information-Analytical Center. The set of applications includes the Analytical model of pension system of the Republic of Moldova and Pension calculator. The Analytical model of pension system of the Republic of Moldova allows evaluating the financial situation of pension system of the Republic of Moldova in a long-term perspective. The Pension calculator is aimed at modeling the individual pension of a concrete beneficiary, parameters of pension history are set by the user. The development of the set of applications was preceded by a deep analytical work on the analysis of demographic and macroeconomic situation in the Republic of Moldova, examination of processes occurring on labor market and in the legislative sphere. The demographic and macroeconomic forecasts were made, the sex-age profiles of all categories of pension beneficiaries and insurance contributions payers were determined. The outputs of the research were also included in this monograph. The developed program complex (set) is a modern tool for the actuary monitoring of the implementation of pension reforms, realized currently in almost all post-soviet countries, allowing to evaluate properly the existing processes and undertake opportune and efficient actions for their adjustment. Therefore, the monograph has a special interest for the representatives of the legislative and executive bodies, involved in such reforms. The publication is also addressed to the researchers, dealing with the issues of mandatory pension insurance, economists, sociologists, demographers, as well as to a wide circle of readers interested in these issues. Gender aspects of pension system of the Republic of MoldovaThis monograph deals with the analysis of gender aspects of pension insurance system of the Republic of Moldova. It includes the detailed analysis of the existing gender asymmetry in pension insurance, main factors of its formation and development perspectives, analysis of the consequences of the possible retirement age increase in a gender aspect. The book is addressed to a wide circle of readers, interested in the perspectives of pension insurance and gender equality. It will be interesting and useful for decision-makers, politicians, journalists, scholars, teachers, post-graduate students and students, members of non-governmental organizations. Pension system of the Republic of Moldova: actuary expertiseThis monograph is dedicated to the analysis of the course and outputs of pension reform, implemented currently in the Republic of Moldova. Based on a set of imitational models of the state pension system of the Republic of Moldova, developed by the Independent Actuarial Information-Analytical Center, it includes long-term forecasts of the main indices of pension system development, recommendations which shall contribute to taking of optimal decisions for the insurance of pension system vitality and stability.
